 Enjoy this fabulous conversation!

Little note - *The sound quality is not great, it is a bit glitchy at times but stay with it….you get the idea and the conversation is fab!!*

Full time professional actor Sol Sang is a welcomed dose of honesty, openness and truth about re-entering the business we call show slightly later in life (but at exactly the right time!) whilst juggling 3 amazing kids and many different jobs to make it all work (kind of!)

Sol chats so honestly about the reality of re-entering the business after her 3rd child was nearly 4 years old, as a woman in her 40s filled with all the mum guilt.

Sol talks about her ‘typical Asian household upbringing’ and how her career aspirations as an actor were not exactly the lawyer and the doctor that her parents had hoped for!

Sol openly talks about how this lack of having someone in your corner fighting for you, supporting you and cheerleading for you has led to a life of self-belief and self-doubt. Couple that with a previous agent who didn’t see Sol’s talent and made some incredibly poor and ill-judged submissions for ‘Asian’ roles she ‘could’ have been suitable (and not suitable) for…Asia is a big place you know?!

Fast forward to now with her fantastic agent who is her biggest cheerleader and understands who she is and most importantly, utterly believes in her as an actor, she is slowing beginning to step into her power “my 40s are my best decade yet!” Amen to that!

Sol generously shares her story about living with bipolar (personality disorder) and how that affects her life. She shares the good and bad and how social media affects that in both a positive and negative way.

Sol Sang is total force. She is a South-East Asian Women in her 40s……she is VALID, she is DOING IT and she is our MEGA STAR!
